Due to our delicate mountain ecosystem, the weather in Canmore can change quite rapidly. On some crazy days it can rain, hail, snow and end in a beautiful sunny day – all in a matter of hours (sometimes minutes). For this reason, we suggest wearing light layers and including a waterproof jacket in the springs, summer and fall. In winter, a heavy jacket, gloves and headwear are a must.
