Historic luxury in the most amazing location on the banks of the Bow River in Canmore. Built in 1910 — Restored + Redecorated in 2000 — the original logs lend a sense of history to the relaxing atmosphere. This four bedroom home combines rustic history and renovated new age charm. For those looking for the real Rocky Mountain log cabin experience, then this is it! Located only a few blocks from Main Street Canmore, the Bow River Chalet is perfectly located to give you the feeling of privacy on the river banks, and also the luxury of being close to all the action of town. Sit on one of the two large decks and enjoy expansive views of the majestic mountains while the waters of the Bow River glide past.
Main Level: The main floor features a large dining room and living room with a gas fireplace and views of the Bow River. As you pass
through the dining room and living room you can access the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and master suite with ensuite.
Upper Level: If you were to continue up the spiral staircase to the upper level you would have another 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room, and best of all, the large deck overlooking the Bow River.
Outdoor Space: Enjoy stargazing from the tranquil private patio off the back of the property. Or people watch from one of the two large balconies on the front of the property.
The property is located in Canmore, Alberta. It is a 10 minute walk to main street (restaurants and shops). It is a 15 minute drive to Banff. For security reasons, we do not disclose the exact location of the house.
- Maximum occupancy is 10 people and includes adults and children. This includes any person staying overnight, coming over for dinner or just popping by quickly.
- No pets allowed.
- No parties or events.
- Please take your shoes off at the front door. This is a Canadian custom and it makes the lives of our cleaning team much easier and helps keep the property in tip top shape!
- Guests will need to sign a lease agreement. This is an easy digital process and we email all the information out when we confirm your long term stay.
